challenge
Not only is it challenging to find the latest sneakers or a rare pair of shoes, but finding your size in stock can be even more difficult. In addition, high fees for buyers and sellers are the norm.

Opportunity
Fashionistas and true lovers of streetwear shoes are looking for a new app that provides the latest sneakers and their release dates, competitive prices, and fashion advice.

How do users shop online?
To unfold this question I looked at how users are shopping online using competitors such as Amazon, Zappos, and DSW.

I discovered that users love to shop online because of these main reasons.

-
Competitive prices on all products, usually there is a deal of day or online only special sale.
-
Products are easy to compare, rating information is extremely valuable and trusted.
-
Users can save items to wish list and/or share items with friends.
Personas
Creating personas help us make decisions about content priority and personalized features for users.

How can we help users find the shoes they want?
I used competitive analysis, interviews, and affinity mapping to explore this topic. My research focused on websites like StockX, GOAT, and eBay, which specialize in hard-to-find sneakers. These platforms primarily concentrate on letting independent sellers list items. These sites, however, are known for charging both sellers and buyers high fees.
Personas
Making use of personas facilitates our decision-making regarding user personalization and content prioritization. We noticed two distinct users. The first user is the trendsetter. He wants the latest pair of sneakers price is not a problem. The second user is the bargain hunter. She likes browsing online and hunting for the best deals.

Establishing The Project Scope
Given the constraints of the project, we focus on the Browsing screen and Checkout Flow.
Addressing User's Concerns
After conducting user interviews, we learned that:
The sites that are currently accessible charge high fees to buyers and sellers. For those seeking stylish sneakers but don't want to spend a lot of money, there isn't a platform.

If a product does not fit, the return process can be complicated, costly, and time-consuming.

Our users are clamouring for the ability to set up alerts with various criteria, such as different price ranges for shoes or styles.

Initial thinking and sketching
The app helps users find the sneakers they want by providing release dates, competitive prices, and particular alerts.

Card Sorting
In the Ideation phase, I used card sorting to design the structure of the app, navigation, and label categories. In short, what makes the most sense from the user's point of view.

Buy With Confidence
We concluded after sketching and brainstorming that if we streamline the return process, consumers will feel more comfortable using our app to make purchases. We offer free refunds on all products within 30 days.
By implementing a "size finder," we attempt to reduce the amount of merchandise returned due to incorrect sizing. We match users with the appropriate size by asking for the brand and shoe size of a pair of shoes that fit them perfectly.
Wireframes
With the appropriate insight, we created low-fidelity wireframes focusing on the browsing screen and check-out process.

Usability Testing
We learned that one of the friction points was the address field because there were no means to verify the correct address.
For two out of five users, the inability to auto-complete the location was annoying.

We added Google auto-address to resolve this issue. By making this feature accessible, the town, province/state, and postal/ZIP code will be filled in immediately using the first line of a customer's address.

design
It was crucial to display new arrivals based on your favourite brands. Users can browse products by category and view instant prices that are not influenced by bidding battles.
Users can set up alerts for different products based on shoe size and price drops.

Takeaways
I've given a lot of consideration to how I can use Sneaker app to give users the information they want. I examined why people choose particular types of footwear and discovered that it has a lot to do with displaying a certain aspect of oneself to the outside world. The right sneaker can make you feel like a million dollars! However, you shouldn't have to spend a fortune. The purpose of Sneaker app was to fill in that gap.
